How Do We Communicate?          

This term we will investigate the history of communication from the use of radio and newspapers to the use of mobile phones and the internet. Students will be involved in planning and developing radio shows, short documentaries and articles for publishing in newsletters and websites. Students will also look at how technology is changing and the way we communicate now. Safety and bullying through communication will also be investigated as will the the way advertising influences what we do and buy.

Our maths focus will concentrate on the introduction of decimals. We will also transfer the skills we have learned with time mass and angles into real life maths. There will also be a big emphasis on place value and the 4 processes.

Our camp this year will be at Sunnystones.
