Social – Community and Demographics
Seaholme Primary School was established in 1929 and is situated in the south west of Melbourne in the bay side suburb of Altona. The area is well established and the school has a current enrolment of 347.
Our buildings are modern with the main building comprising 9 spacious classrooms; art room; bright, well equipped music room; multi-purpose hall; canteen, staff room and efficient administration area. This building is complimented with a new building completed in 2010 comprising of five classrooms, a large open learning space and library. Our before and after School Care programs (O.S.H.C.) operate from our multi-purpose hall.
A large grassed oval, covered verandas, shade sails, outdoors stage area, several modern playground structures and hard, painted paved areas provide a variety of opportunities for children’s play.
