Grades Prep, One, Two
The focuses of the visual arts program for term two are: construction
and drawing. Students have learnt different joining methods and have
joined a variety of materials to create a creature. Some creatures are
animals which may be kept as pets; others are unusual creatures from the
children’s imaginations. Students will consider some of the common
shapes involved in drawing animals and will use a variety of materials
including: watercolour pencils, charcoal and pastels to create an animal
portrait.
